Eco-friendly multi-award-winning accommodation that provides music and archery lessons as well as consultancy on eco-projects. As an award winning (Georgina Campbell 'good food' Award) B&B we specialise in vegetarian breakfasts and try to provide a great holiday experience without the eco-footprint by running our accommodation in an ecologically sustainable way. We harvest rain-water, use eco-lighting and us wood to heat the house as well as shopping locally and buying locally produced organic food. Our hens and vermiculture unit take care of our food waste and we are constantly learning new ways to deal with recycling - in fact we haven't put out a 'rubbish' bin since August 2007. Our electricity is from renewable sources and as well as providing bikes, kites and canoe we provide a pick-up service from (local) bus stops. The music school has proven itself over the years and some fine musicians have graduated some of whom are now themselves teachers. Archery is taught in an enclosed section of the garden where there's an emphasis on safety for all on an archery course.
